Our in-house operations allow us to quickly test and react to changing conditions and client demands, while our cost-effective manufacturing procedures enable us to produce a competitive, high-quality product. MACHINE SHOP
In our machine shop, there are 26 CNC machining centers. There are 6 three-axis mills with maximum work travel of 40” x 84”, 4 four-axis mills, and 3 five-axis mills with 12” x 24” work envelope. We have 4 horizontal pallet changing mills that have b-axis tables, 5 lathes, all equipped with live tooling heads, and y-axis capable of turn/mill capability on a single setup. The maximum work envelope on the lathes is 23.8-inch machining diameter and 120 inches from chuck to center. We also have a 7-axis turning and milling machine, with the milling head on a b-axis capable of hitting any angle, and one vertical lathe with a 44-inch machining diameter.
BRAZING DEPARTMENT
The brazing department at XCAL TOOLS is fully capable to meet all your machining and brazing needs with the following equipment:

ROBOTIC WELDING
Here at XCAL TOOLS, we have 17 robotic automation cells applying tungsten carbide by impregnating hard-facing welds. Three Robotic applied Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) wear coatings are also available. Our Welding Department is more than capable of tackling the jobs you need to be done and is dedicated to producing quality.

XCAL TOOLS takes pride in both manufacturing new and rebuilding all makes and models of construction and continuous miner drums.
